This is an early winchester lever gun manufactured in 1878. This gun is all original, I do not see that a thing has been changed, not even a screw. The finish is at about 30 - 40 %  with all of the color gone from the receiver. The barrel is clean and shiny with still visible rifling. The 4 digit serial # dates this rifle to 1878. Chambered in 45-60
