Parker Brothers grade 2 Quail 12ga Hammerless
This is a decent, complete, original, matching # Parker Brothers shotgun. The serial number dates this gun to 1897. The Damascus barrel is un-cut and it's original length of 30" with no detectible buldges. As the finish goes, there is a little color left on the flat of the receiver and that's about it. The wood is in good condition with worn checkering and a nice flush fit to the receiver. Over the years, someone stamped their innitials in the bottom of the receiver in 2 spots (might be repairable) When shut this shotgun locks up, it is tight and will not rattle when shook. The ejector is also in good working condition.
