US Army Springfield 1898 30-40Krag original
This is a 1902 U.S Army Springfield 1898 rifle in great original conditrion. The barrel is 30" with a clean bore with sharp rifling. Chambered in 30-40 Krag. This rifle is pretty much corrosion free with about 80% bluing in tact. the wood is complete and solid with a few bumps here and there. Sounding pretty good, right? well, there is one setback and I'm pretty sure that it can be handeled easily. There is an engraved number in the left side of the receiver, just above the wood stock, looks like it was done with a low powered evgraver, so it is pretty shallow.
