US Army Springfield 1898 30-40Krag cut stock
This is a 1902 U.S Army Springfield 1898 rifle in great modified conditrion. The barrel is 30" with a clean bore with sharp rifling. Chambered in 30-40 Krag. This rifle is pretty much corrosion free with about 80% bluing in tact. the wood is solid BUT CUT with a few bumps here and there. Look at the pictures and see that the stock has been cut just in front of the middle clamp. Comes with what I suspect is an original canvass sling. The serial numbner dates this rifle to 1898
